Anita Sarkeesian, a Canadian/American media critic is also a public speech writer. Feminist Frequency was created by Sarkeesian. Feminist Frequency was launched in 2009 by Sarkeesian, a University student who has been involved in topics concerning gender and feminism for a lengthy period of. Someone who hoped to launch a web-series that would examine the representation of gender in video games, she was targeted by an internet-based campaign.
